Vipul & Shwetha

Our team had the opportunity to witness one of the finest weddings of 2019 and this one is close to our hearts as Vipul was a college senior, and a good friend for over a decade. One fine day, out of the blue, we got a call from him asking us to be his wedding photographer!

The 5 day wedding took place in Karkala and was one filled with glitz and glamour. The personal connection and the warmth of the family helped us in enjoying the ceremony so much, it didn’t feel like work at all!

It all started with the cocktail party where all the friends and youth got together and had a ball. The dance floor was full, the chairs were empty and that’s all we remember!

The Haldi ceremony was a joyous and traditional one with all the family elders showering their blessings and goodwill on the lucky couple. Shwetha, the quieter of the two, showed a different side with song and dance at the Sangeeth.

The wedding was a traditional Tulu Jain affair, but Vipul, being the eternal prankster, turned up with a helmet for the Okhli, surprising us all. The grandest of them all was the reception, with all the who’s who in attendance. The pictures captured below scratch just the surface of the grandiose celebrations.
