Kshama & Snehith

In 2019, we were approached to shoot a big fat Jain Wedding in the coastal town of Moodabidri.

The venue was set, guests were invited, 10,000 of them! Pair this with a coy bride and a stoic groom! The Challenge was monumental. Thankfully, the couple was so in love with each other that all inhibitions melted away and we captured these rare moments of joy, laughter and true ecstasy.

A Jain wedding of this scale was new to us. Okhali and Talibandi ceased to be words as they evolved into a full body experience for us as we captured it.
